Are there generative AI tools in any of the resources licensed by the Library?

Some  of the databases we subscribe to in the Library have introduced AI-assisted search features and functionality. These can range from enabling natural language searching, highlighting key concepts, or providing summaries of discovered material. In some cases, the Library has the choice to turn these features on or off; for the most part, where we have this control, we have enabled natural language searching and disabled summaries. Sometimes we have no control over these pieces, or they are all on, or all off. The following is not an exhaustive list, and is subject to change as this is an ever-evolving area; if you have any questions about any of the AI features you see in Library tools, please feel free to reach out to the Library. And as always, use with some degree of caution and criticality - results can vary with their effectiveness and reliability.
